AI Disclosure

JULY AI is the assistant inside JULY Email. On plans that include it, and only after you turn it on in Settings, it reads an incoming message and writes a short summary or a suggested reply. Both appear as a draft in your own Gmail, in the same conversation.

Plans with AI include a daily allowance: 150,000 tokens a day on AI Executive and 600,000 on Copilot. A token is about four characters. Each pass counts the email and your settings, plus the most the AI may write: 256 tokens for a summary, 1,024 for a suggested reply. At the allowance, the AI pauses until midnight UTC, we email you once, and your mail keeps forwarding. Billing shows today's count. Nothing is charged beyond your plan.

For each AI pass we record the date, which feature ran, the model and how many tokens it used, to keep to your allowance and to know what the AI costs us. We never record the mail or what the AI wrote. These records are kept for 2 years and are part of your data export; deleting your account removes your name from them.

• It never sends anything. Every draft waits for you to read, change and send it yourself.
• Your mail is never used to train AI models, ours or anyone else's.
• It is built to treat the mail it reads as something to answer, never as instructions to follow, and the most it can do is write a draft.

The AI runs on Anthropic's Claude API, our AI subprocessor, in the United States. For each draft it receives the one message being answered, your playbook, your signature and your chosen tone, and never your password or other accounts. Anthropic does not train its models on data sent through its API. More in the Privacy Policy and on the Subprocessors page.

AI output can be wrong, out of date or not right for your situation. It is a starting point, not legal, financial, tax or other professional advice. Nobody at JULY Email reads your drafts unless you ask us to look at one for support.

Don't put card numbers, bank details, government ID numbers such as a SIN, passwords or health information in your playbook or signature: they go to the AI with every draft.

Switch the AI toggles off in Settings and processing stops at once. Disconnecting Google also stops drafts, and deletes the token we held.
