1. Roles
For the mail that passes through JULY Email and the contacts in it, you are the party who decides why and how it is processed, and JULY Marketing Inc. processes it only on your instructions. For your own account information, the Privacy Policy applies.
2. What we process
- Purpose: receiving mail for your addresses, forwarding it to the inboxes you choose, sending and routing your replies, and, when you turn them on, writing AI summaries and reply drafts.
- Data: names and email addresses in message headers, message content while it is in transit, and delivery records (sender, recipient, size, time and outcome).
- People: the people who write to your addresses and the people you write to.
- Duration: while your account exists, then as the retention table in the Privacy Policy says.
3. Our commitments
- We process the data only to provide JULY Email to you, and never sell it or use it for advertising.
- Everyone who can reach it is bound to keep it confidential.
- We protect it with the measures on our Security page, including encryption in transit, encryption of stored credentials and tokens, and access limited to the operator.
- We use only the subprocessors on the Subprocessors page. We post a change there, and email account owners, at least 30 days before a new subprocessor starts, and you may object by writing to us; if we can't meet your objection, you may close your account.
- We help you answer requests from the people whose data it is: access, correction and deletion.
- We tell you without undue delay, and within 72 hours of confirming it, if a breach of security affects this data, with what we know and what we are doing about it.
- When your account ends, we delete the data as the Privacy Policy describes; copies in backups age out within 14 days.
- We give you the information you reasonably need to check that we keep these commitments.
4. Where it is processed
The data is processed in the United States (AWS us-east-1), and by our subprocessors where their page says. Where the law you are subject to requires safeguards for a transfer, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, we will put them in place with you on request.

The limits of liability in the Terms of Use apply to this addendum.
